Three percent of your room generates fifty-eight percent of your revenue. That's not a rounding error — it's the business model. The instinct is to perform harder when a Whale tips. Don't. They tipped because they liked what you were already doing.
Dolphins and Sharks are your middle. Recognition, not escalation — remember a name, acknowledge a return visit, say thank you once and mean it. The moment you ask for more, you turn warmth into a transaction.
Drifters and Barnacles are most of every room and almost none of the income. Acknowledge a Drifter once, then let them watch. Barnacles get nothing — every second on them is stolen from someone who actually showed up.
Stay safe. Stay smart. 🐳
