Privacy Policy

Whalewatch is a product of Nino Labs LLC (“we”, “us”). Your privacy is core to everything we build. This policy explains what we collect, why, and what we never do.

We do not sell your data

Period. We do not sell, rent, license, or trade your personal information to anyone. We do not share it with advertisers. We do not monetize it in any way other than providing the Whalewatch service you signed up for. If that ever changes, we will notify you first and give you the option to delete everything before it takes effect.

What we collect

We collect only what we need to run the product. Here's the complete list:

  • Email address — used for account login, license delivery, and the occasional product email. That's it.
  • License key — identifies your account and gates access to the product.
  • Chaturbate username and Events API URL — used to connect to your room. We only read rooms you explicitly connect.
  • Session metadata — start time, end time, viewer count, tip totals. The operational data the product surfaces to you.
  • Viewer interactions — public chat messages, tip events, and enter/leave events from your connected room as published by Chaturbate's Events API.

What we never collect

We never collect, store, process, or transmit video, audio, images, or any visual content from your stream. Whalewatch reads text-based event data only. There are no screenshots, no recordings, no screen captures — ever. We also never collect your real name, physical address, government ID, or financial account details (Stripe handles payment; we never see your card number).

How long we keep it

Session data (chat events, tip events, viewer records) is retained for 90 days from the session date, then permanently deleted. Account data (email, license key, preferences) is retained for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account or request deletion, all data is purged within 30 days.

Your rights

You can request a full export or complete deletion of your data at any time by emailing hello@getww.app. We will respond within 7 days. Deletion is permanent and irreversible — we will confirm before processing.

Third-party processors

We use a small number of third-party services to operate Whalewatch. Each has access only to the minimum data required for their function:

  • Stripe — payment processing. Handles card details directly; we never see or store them.
  • Resend — transactional email delivery (key delivery, trial reminders).
  • Railway — server infrastructure and database hosting (US-East).
  • Sentry — error monitoring. Receives anonymized crash reports with no personally identifiable information.

We do not use analytics trackers, advertising pixels, or fingerprinting libraries.
